Join the day for old timers
Are you a former Horowhenua Ka¯ piti Rugby player, coach, referee, volunteer or administrator?
As part of the Horowhenua Ka¯ piti Rugby Union’s 125 Year celebrations, an HKRFU Old Timers Day will be held on Saturday at the Levin Domain.
The Horowhenua Ka¯ piti Heartland team plays Wairarapa Bush then for the PGG Wrightson Cup, and as part of the day’s celebrations, the team’s Old Timers will have their contributions to rugby in Horowhenua Ka¯ piti acknowledged on the day.
Registrations for the day are open to any former players, referees, coaches, administrators and volunteers who have been involved in Horowhenua Ka¯ piti Rugby.
“An Old Timers Day is an awesome opportunity for us to say thank you to a large number of our rugby community who have contributed to rugby in Horowhenua Ka¯ piti,” Rugby Union chief executive Corey Kennett said.
“From players right through to volunteers who have been the heart of ‘Nua rugby, we want to acknowledge everyone, and this is our chance to do so.”
To register for the Old Timers Day, send an email through to the Horowhenua Ka¯ piti Rugby Union office on office@hkrfu.co.nz and you’ll receive free entry to the Mitre 10 Heartland Championship game between Horowhenua
Ka¯ piti and Wairarapa Bush, as well as be hosted at the game from 1pm onwards.
