Largely avoiding the storms, particularly the heavy rain that affected many parts of the country, Kāpiti again maintained its reputation as one of the country’s more equable regions, said local weather commentator Murray Eggers regarding November’s weather. “It was generally a fairly average month in Kāpiti, with an average daily temperature of 19.8 degrees, so it almost qualified as our first month of summer. This was a degree lower than the recordbreaking November 2017, but we did enjoy 16 days with a maximum of 20 degree or over, exactly the same as 2017.”
