Netball kits to be won in contest

-

Palmerston North Airport is giving 10 $300 junior netball training kits to schools within the Manawatu, Rangitikei, Horowhenua, Ka¯ piti, Wairarapa, Tararua and Ruapehu areas.

There are two opportunities to win these prizes:

Six kits will be given away to junior netball teams entering the Fly Palmy Central Region’s photo competition in association with Central Pulse netball team.

To enter, the junior team has to recreate the Central Pulse team’s group photo which features at the end of their new training tip videos www.facebook.com/ NetballPulse/videos/ 348762669089382/.

Four kits will be given to randomly-selected schools. The airport company will send an email to all school offices asking if they would like to be considered for one of these.

Palmerston North Airport chief executive David Lanham said the airport has an extensive sponsorship programme which covers arts, culture, sports, environment and community groups.

“Supporting communities throughout the regions is important to us and part of our values. We are pleased to be able to support grass roots sports in this small way.”

All winners will be announced on the Palmerston North Airport

page (watch out for close off date).
