Davenport successful
The Exhibition now on at the Kapiti Gallery is an in-house Kapiti Art and Crafts Society competition.
The judging was by a neutral judge and in the painting section, Storm Davenport took first place, Jan Smith second and Heather Chambers third. In the craft section Storm Davenport was first and Andrea Mark second.
The exhibition will close May 12 and will be followed by the popular Spinners, Weavers, Felters and Knitters display.
Hours for the gallery are Thursday to Sunday, 10am to 3pm but can be opened outside these hours for groups by contacting the gallery on 04 9028549. The gallery is at 192 Matai Rd, Raumati Beach. An in house Kapiti Arts & Crafts
