What’s changed?

-

We’ve re-organised our staff rosters to enable us to split our libraries, aquatics and customer service teams into two distinct shifts. The two shifts will not cross paths, giving us the best chance of keeping our facilities open should one of our team return a positive COVID-19 test. These arrangements have meant that we have had to reduce our opening hours at our pools and make some changes to the services we offer to ensure we have adequate lifeguard, aqua fit instructor and reception staff cover at our aquatics facilities, and staff cover at our libraries and service centres. Read on to find out more.

This is an ever-changing situation, and it is possible that we’ll need to make further changes if Omicron takes hold. If things don’t play out as expected, then we’ll look to revert to our normal operations as quickly as possible.

We continue to ask for your patience and understanding as we navigate this pandemic. Please be kind to our staff and mask, scan and pass when requested. Noho ora mai Kāpiti, stay well.
