New library phase
The project to build a new or upgraded library and service centre in Waikanae has entered a new phase. “Building on what we've already heard from our community, our next step is to determine the best location for the new library and service centre within Mahara Place and the types of functions the facility will provide,” the council said. “We're also investigating the opportunities developing a new facility might offer to revitalise the Waikanae Town Centre.
