R–Restoration

We know the wellbeing of our environment is essential to the wellbeing of our communities. Here in Kāpiti, we have amazing groups of people across our district who give their time to enhance, protect and restore our natural environment. Large areas of our whenua (land) benefit hugely from the work of community-based restoration groups, who are nurturing our environment for future generations. Whether it’s planting trees, building tracks, eradicating pests, or restoring habitat, we know this valuable work couldn’t happen without them!

If you would like to get involved, new volunteers are always welcome at local restoration groups.
