Waikanae River Trail (south bank track) resurfaced

Great news for users of the Waikanae River Trail – we’ve fixed the damage on the south bank track (between Otaihanga Domain and the expressway bridge).

The track was damaged by the bad weather last December. Now we’ve fixed the holes on the track and put a brand-new layer of gravel on top of it.

Other bits of the track (further east) are managed by Greater Wellington Regional Council, and they are looking at resurfacing the remaining rough patches soon. Let’s all get out there and make the most of the autumnal evenings!
