MANUFACTURING FACTORY TEAM LEADER

This is a unique opportunity for a first-class person to supervise 11 employees (machine operators, CNC, and Robot operators, and welders) and be hands-on where required. It is an exciting new role in a fast-paced environment with constantly changing products requiring ingenuity, creative thinking and focus on meeting deadlines. You’ll need to be a clever, practical problem-solver able to engage and earn the respect of staff.

ESSENTIAL:

• A positive, can-do attitude with confidence, energy, welldeveloped interpersonal skills, attention to detail and a cool head under pressure.

Practical machinery/electrical/metalworking skills.

OTHER:

• A minimum of 5 years experience manufacturing environment.

Honed, diverse and proven common-sense practical skills in machinery set-up and maintenance.

• Leadership, planning, scheduling communication.

Problem solving and troubleshooting abilities. Medium to high levels of computer skills for monitoring and learning CNC and Robotic machinery

• Sound knowledge of Health and Safety procedures

HIGHLY DESIRABLE:

• Knowledge and experience in resistance
