The business started in 1989 and has been successfully providing kitchens throughout the Wellington area for the last 34 years. The owners Pat Thomson and Craig Wattam are very community minded, and are still hands on and fully involved in the business.
Kitchen Creators can organise your new kitchen from creating a design concept right through to the final installation. The showroom and factory are both located in Kapiti, so the staff can easily monitor your kitchen manufacturing progress at all times.
If you want to put your feet up, they can take care of the project and organise the trades for you, ensuring it all runs smoothly and is finished as quickly as possible. They can also make components for the rest of your house, such as; customised TV units, wardrobes, laundry and bathroom units if you can’t find exactly what you’re looking for.
Kitchen Creators Design Consultants

Detailing Team
Kitchen Creators have a specialised person, director and lead installer Pat Thomson who is dedicated to going to site to do a final check measure before starting manufacture. Then the detailing team, Geno, Todd, Craig Martin & Craig Wattam are the measure twice and cut once guys. They all work closely with the design team making sure that everything discussed with you will come to life, function correctly, and last for many years to come.
Manufacture and installation
The manufacturing team aim to get your kitchen manufactured and installed as quickly as possible, so you can get on to whipping up some wonderful food creations. Whilst the team has grown over the years, many have been working at Kitchen Creators a very long time. Every time a kitchen leaves the Kapiti Road workshop, they feel pride in what they have produced.

If you are wondering what is trending with kitchens at the moment. . . about 90% of kitchens produced by Kitchen Creators are still white! A lot of people are adding a Scandinavian touch with a timber-look accent colour or there are some lovely soft colours that have been added for a Hamptons feel. Art Deco and mid-century modern are also making a comeback, so it’s really interesting to change things up with new handle options or finishes to add a point of difference, depending on the style of the house.
