The games in Kāpiti will commence at 8.30am, with the last game finishing at 9.15pm.

Spellacey said a stringent selection process would then begin for those wanting to be considered for a New Zealand age group team.

“Some selected will attend the Masters World Cup later in the year in either Cape Town or Auckland.”

The Kāpiti Pavilion cafe and bar will be open each day to provide refreshments for those attending. Entry is free and everyone is welcome to attend.

“We would like to thank our main naming rights sponsor Coastlands and our other key supporters who have placed advertising signs at our turf,” Spellacey said.

“Also a big thanks to our local council who have been supportive in bringing this event to the beautiful Kāpiti Coast.”
