Organisers say attendeeswill be encouraged towear pink— including the men if they choose to.

FrankieMcGuire, whowas a coorganiser of the event from the Fairview Golf and Country Club, said themain organisers were MonicaWilliams, Glennis Sims and Carol Flippard and they had done a great job to ensure the event would be an enjoyable one.

Mr McGuire said they hoped to sell 90 tickets to the event and “raise as much money as possible” for a “wonderful” cause.

Attendeeswould get a full buffet breakfast, a glass of bubbles and a welcome pack on arrival and the ticket price includes a donation to the foundation.

“We encourage men to come and dress in pink for the day, it’s not just a ladies’ event.”

Mr McGuire said the club would also hold golfing events this weekendwhich he hoped would increase the donation to the foundation.

Tickets are now on sale and are available at Cafe Nineteen at the club.

Tickets cost $40 per person and doors open at 9.30am, with breakfast served at 10am.
