‘Bug Man’ gives talk
The Aongatete Forest Project in conjunction with the Tauranga branch of Forest & Bird is hosting a special public talk on Thursday, August 23. Adults and children alike who are interested in our native creatures won’t want to miss it.
Guest speaker is Ruud ‘The Bug Man’ Kleinpaste and he’ll be giving a fascinating insight into weird and wonderful insects, spiders and other amazing invertebrates that live in our forest and the positive effect that pest control has on their lives.
Aongatete Forest Project trustees will also provide a brief update on volunteer activities and what’s ‘Alive at Aongatete’.
The talk is free to attend, all are welcome, and there’s even a light supper provided afterwards.
The event starts at 7pm, Thursday, August 23 at St Peter’s Anglican Church in Katikati.
