Avocado thieves nabbed

Avocado thefts seem to have fallen off with the right people apprehended.

There are still the occasional reports in the Tauranga District, where an offender was apprehended Monday night. Keep vigilant in rural areas where these thieves are looking for opportunities and soft targets. Let us know about anything suspicious.

On Sunday police arrested a 28-year-old Katikati man for breaching a Police Safety Order which had banned him from an address for a period of time. He appeared in court the following day.

On Saturday an Aongatete man was arrested for breaching his residential bail conditions. The 26 year old appeared in court the following day and has been rebailed.

On Monday there was a petrol drive off. The offending vehicle was a grey
