Katikati crews responded to 33 incidents last week, 14 of which were in the Katikati operational area, the remainder stretching across the territory from Whakamarama as far as Papamoa Beach.
Twenty-four patients were transported to medical facilities, seven were treated at home, one patient was not transported, and on one occasion the ambulance was not required.
Tauranga Hub crews swapped shifts with local crews on three occasions last week, resulting in city crews attending 14 calls in our area.
Omokoroa First Response Unit attended two incidents, and a PRIME (Primary Response in Medical Emergencies) doctor responded to one call.
Katikati crews received back up from Tauranga based Intensive Care Paramedics on two occasions.
