Katikati crews re­sponded to 33 in­ci­dents last week, 14 of which were in the Katikati op­er­a­tional area, the re­main­der stretch­ing across the ter­ri­tory from Whaka­ma­rama as far as Pa­pamoa Beach.

Twenty-four pa­tients were trans­ported to med­i­cal fa­cil­i­ties, seven were treated at home, one pa­tient was not trans­ported, and on one oc­ca­sion the am­bu­lance was not re­quired.

Tau­ranga Hub crews swapped shifts with lo­cal crews on three oc­ca­sions last week, re­sult­ing in city crews at­tend­ing 14 calls in our area.

Omoko­roa First Re­sponse Unit at­tended two in­ci­dents, and a PRIME (Pri­mary Re­sponse in Med­i­cal Emer­gen­cies) doc­tor re­sponded to one call.

Katikati crews re­ceived back up from Tau­ranga based In­ten­sive Care Paramedics on two oc­ca­sions.
