On Monday, November 5 at 1.40pm the brigade was called to a large digger on fire on Hume Rd — off Wright Rd. The fire was able to be quickly extinguished, mainly due to the owners using extinguishers until we arrived.
On the same day at 4.35pm the brigade was called to a person choking at Rereatukahia Marae. St John Ambulance staff were on scene and gave assistance.
On Thursday, November 8 at 7.35am the brigade was called to a car verse truck on SH2 near Snodgrass Rd. We assisted Tauranga at the scene. The car was off the road and down the bank. The person was extricated after the windscreen was removed. He had minor injuries.
On Saturday at 2.45pm the brigade attended to a cardiac arrest on Hot Springs Rd. CPR was performed until ambulance staff arrived. However, the person was unable to be revived.
