Abbeyfield House information meeting on
An article in the Advertiser on November 22 about an idea to build an Abbeyfield House in Katikati to provide supported living for older people, has created interest and invited lots of questions.
The Katikati Abbeyfield steering group has decided to have an information meeting on Wednesday, December 12. All interested parties are invited to attend and find out more about the concept of communal living, as well as learn about the group’s plans. The concept offers affordable housing for independent older people, providing a unit with ensuite and communal living with two meals cooked each day by the cook.
