Big thank you

I want to give a shout out to the local businesses that so very generously supported my effort to raise money to help pay for cancer treatment costs. It is nice to live in a New Zealand town where people come together to support others who are in need. It was a first for me to do such a thing, and my decision to create calendars was a risky enterprise as there were substantial costs involved which we could well do without. There were also challengers that I struggled with in the design and printing aspects of this exercise, but I managed to learn some things as I went and feel better equipped to repeat this challenge for a 2020 calendar, if I am still physically and mentally able to do so.

Thank you so very much to the businesses that helped me pay for costs by advertising, as well as this newspaper (Katikati Advertiser), Bee NZ, The Big Avocado, Katikati Community Centre, Orchard House Cafe´, Countdown, Omokoroa Pharmacy, Avocado Food & Wine Festival, Athenree Homestead, Waihi Beach Christmas Festival, Waihi New World, Summerset Village, and everyone who purchased the calendar. I did make a profit, so have more tax to pay lol. Love y’all!

Colin Stitt, with wife Maureen, have been selling calendars to help fund his non-subsidised cancer treatment.
