Kaimai Views sells through alert levels

-

The developer of an Omokoroa subdivision is hoping to see more people visiting showhomes as New Zealand moves through the alert levels, but has still been enjoying strong sales.

Classic Group is the developer of the Kaimai Views subdivision, a joint venture with the Western Bay of Plenty District Council.

Co-director Peter Cooney says despite the recent lockdown, sales were still strong for the Kaimai Views subdivision, which released nine lots two weeks ago and all have sold.

“With social distancing and hygiene protocols in play, we are set up to receive visitors in our showhome, but these recent sales were made through people calling, emailing and viewing all the information online.”

He says work had to be put on hold throughout Covid-19 alert level 4, but at level 3, Classic Builders was back constructing in seven regions.

He believes there will be more inquiries when the community and country gets back to normalcy through the current level 2, and when it moves to alert level 1.

“We hope to see more people visiting our showhomes as we progress further from lockdown and I think if houses are priced right, there are people who are going to take advantage of the low interest rates on offer.”
