Moore local talent on show
Katch Katikati is full steam ahead in preparation for this year’s Christmas in the Park celebration concert at Moore Park on Saturday. Antz Te Whakaara from 5IVE 4OUR9INE Productionz, a locally based label established this year, will perform a range ofRnBHip Hop/Rap.
“Performing on the day will be myself Kruzi, NBThe Rapper, TipCee, E.J.K, Hoodie and Ash.”
Event manager Kylie Watkins says they are excited to be bringing a broader range of local musical talents to the stage at this years concert.
“Wethought it would be great to showcase and appeal to the whole community covering an array of music from folk, through to HipHop and in between.
“Welook forward to sharing this day with everyone.”
The concert runs from 3.30pm until 5.30pm with local entertainers folk artists, MyPennyworth, country western singer, Toni-Rae Lambert and the Long Journey Youth Bandwhoperformed last year, and talented singer Rose Uilou. Toni-Rae says she is really excited to be coming back to perform this year. ConcertMCis Chris Jacobs from Te Runanga o Ngai Tamawhariua Health and Social Services.
Kylie says they are pleased to introduce a small local makers market to Moore Park.
“This has been included to help fill the day with the enjoyment of browsing locally-made products and services, plus help with shopping with ChristmasDayonly 20 days away.”
If it rains the concert will be held in the Katikati Memorial Hall.
