The Nuggets team selected to play in the final — Earle White, Allen Sarjant, John Giffney, Maurice Joyce, Tim Parish and Ken Purcell were supported by Peter Robertson, Jock Stronach, and Peter Maria the remaining Nugget squad as travelling reserves, and Quartz members Mick Goodall, Jim Evans and Allen Smith.
