Toy library website has click and collect
Western Bay of Plenty parents can now search and choose toys from their Katikati Toy Library day and night — no matter where they are — thanks to a new website with a click and collect option.
Katikati Toy Library has just launched a new website which offers ‘click and collect’ for its members — so families can choose toys on their devices and arrange to collect them when it suits their family.
The new website has been created to give more families a better chance to use all of the fun and educational toys at the library — and choose and pick them up when it suits busy parents.
The new service coincides with 40 new toys on offer at the Katikati Toy Library and national Toy Library Awareness Week from March 6-12 which has the theme ‘Toy libraries are for you’.
“At our Katikati library, we really want more families loaning more of our huge range of more than 600 toys,” says Katikati Toy Library committee member Toni Connelly.
Toni says the toy library also has a brand new logo, which is part of the committee’s work to promote the facility and toy resources.
“Now member families can order online from home and collect orders during toy library hours of 6.30pm-8pm on Tuesdays, 2.30pm-4pm Wednesdays, and click and collection option on 9am10am Saturdays.”
She says being open on Saturdays from 9am-10am is a new
initiative to give parents and families busy during the week a chance to collect orders or search the library with their children.
“We have an amazingly huge range of awesome, quality toys — for babies, pre-schoolers right up to children aged 10 from baby toys such as rattles, bouncers to games, puzzles, DVDs, dress-up costumes, outdoor toys, water toys, wheeled toys and a range of indoor toys.”
