Young triumph in battle for the ages
Katikati Cricket prizegiving 2021-2022 was thoroughly enjoyed in the April autumn sunshine. A social match between the Under-30s and Over-30s seniors took place earlier on the KCG for the Nichol Family Trophy. The Under-30s team secured the trophy by 36 runs over the older gentleman.
A good attendance of club members helped celebrate efforts of their teammates this season. The club has had its largest number of players for many years with six junior teams and 4 senior sides.
A huge thank-you to our club coaches John Kaczon, Ben Warren, Andrew Bing, Brody Gilroy, Craig Pooley and Mathew Earl, team managers Pauline McFadyen, Mark Anderson, Liza Hodson, Trevor Winslow, Rob Jones and Bharaj Singh, and club scorer/record-keeper Leanne McConnochie.
