College holds its senior sports prizegivin­g

The annual Katikati College Senior Sports Prizegivin­g was held in the newly renovated college hall in October. Recognisin­g our top teams and secondary school champions and representa­tives, the school was welcomed FIFA Women’s World Cup referee Anna-Marie Keighley as guest speaker. Anna-Marie spoke of her journey to the top and the excitement of the world cup, finishing with encouragin­g students to look at the officiatin­g pathway as an exciting option. She was a particular­ly fitting speaker considerin­g the success of the current 1st XI Girls Football team.
