College holds its senior sports prizegiving
The annual Katikati College Senior Sports Prizegiving was held in the newly renovated college hall in October. Recognising our top teams and secondary school champions and representatives, the school was welcomed FIFA Women’s World Cup referee Anna-Marie Keighley as guest speaker. Anna-Marie spoke of her journey to the top and the excitement of the world cup, finishing with encouraging students to look at the officiating pathway as an exciting option. She was a particularly fitting speaker considering the success of the current 1st XI Girls Football team.
