Katikati Twilight Concerts 2024:

Summer concerts feature country rock on January 27 and Woodstock to the 70s is on February 10 at Haiku Reserve.

An Evening of Comedy:

Josh Thompson, Ben hurley and Michelle Wiley and at The Secret

Garden, Waih¯ı Beach on January 26 at 7.30pm.

The Great Waih¯ı Beach Scavenger Hunt:

Scavenger hunt across Waih¯ı Beach. January 27-28 from 8am. Three chances to win cash.

Nauti Girls Fishing Competitio­n:

Bowentown Boating and Fishing Club, harbour only. January 28.

Wander Dogs Walks Series:

February 3 at Te Puna Quarry Park for a guided walk. 9.30am for question and answer, 10am for walk.

Katikati A&P Show: Town meets country, with many displays and entertainm­ent, 60 trade stalls. Its 99th show at Uretara Domain on February 4.

North Island Surf Boats: Bets of the North Island surf lifesaving clubs compete in boat races. February 3-4 at Waih¯ı Beach in front of club.

Abbeyfield Garden Party Fundraiser: In a garden setting on Hot Springs Rd, Katikati. Cakes, canapes, tea/coffee, drinks, and entertainm­ent plus market stalls and raffles. February 17 from 2-5pm, tickets The Arts Junction.

Grow On Katikati Edible Backyard Safari:

Will take you on a journey of destinatio­ns and miniworksh­ops included. Grow On Shed, next to Katikati Community Centre, February 25 from 9am-1pm. Adult Easter Hunt: Solve the clues to local gift vouchers around Waih¯ı Beach. March 31.

South for Winter is a duo who play a blend of dreamy acoustic duets, bluesy ballads and folk. Nick Stone and Dani Cichon combine harmonies, percussive acoustic guitar, mandolin and electric guitar.
The Mollymawks are an acoustic guitar/vocals/violin duo playing original songs and tunes with a Celtic flavour. Al Baxter has played at folk clubs in the United Kingdom and now plays banjo and guitar in Irish bands in Auckland. Emily Allen leads the Bay of Island Singers orchestra and has played with Opus Orchestra and others.
