Echo Walking Festival: The annual two-week festival is in its 21st year and this year boasts a lineup of 29 guided walks spreading across eight scenic locales from Coromandel to the Kaimais. April 8-21.

Movies and More: Katikati Concert Band play a mix of movie music and traditional pieces. Jack Smith from Katikati College will performing the third movement of Mozart’s Horn concerto number 3. April 21 at 4.30pm at St Paul’s Church. Donation entry.
Anzac Dawn Parade: Join Waih¯ı Beach RSA at dawn on April 25 at 5.45am to commemorate those who lost their lives in war.
Waih¯ı Beach Autumn Market: The market boasts an array of free activities for children, including a 40-metre rainbow slide, outdoor games and giveaways. Adults can have a complimentary baristamade coffee (courtesy of sponsors Barfoot & Thompson) which is available to the first 100 visitors. Waih¯ı Beach School on April 27, 8.30am-12pm.
