mini marvels

Kids Go Gardening - - News -

They’re cute, they’re crunchy and they’re packed full of nutrients. When it’s too wet and wintry to sow seeds outside, try growing these teeny salad greens indoors. Microgreens are quick, easy and fun!

A microgreen is a vegetable plant which is eaten at the tiny seedling stage. Almost any vege or herb plant can be grown and eaten as a microgreen. If you don’t love cabbage, try eating it as a microgreen - it’s like a whole other vegetable!

Decorate your dinner plate with microgreens. Add them to a burger, pizza or pasta or simply snip and snack on them as they are.
