Grow your favourite colours and use them like paints to create something stunning! It might be a beautiful gift for someone special. Add extra colour with a hand painted pot. Up-cycled tin cans make great plant pots. Before you start painting get help to make some drainage holes in the bottom and make sure there are no sharp edges on the top edge of the can. Once the paint is dry fill the can with potting mix or seed raising mix ready for your seeds or seedlings. You can grow your own flowers from seed. Or, if you’re in a hurry, you can get flower seedlings from the garden centre all ready to plant in your own special pot.
