It's time to lapnt beans

-

Summer is bean time!

As soon as the soil feels warm on your bare feet you can sow your bean seeds straight in the ground. Make a teepee for tall climbing beans or grow dwarf beans. Choose green, purple or yellow beans or grow some of each. Beans grow fast and you can grow lots in a small space. Climbing bean plants produce the most beans, but you can sow dwarf beans every few weeks for a continuous supply over summer. Baked beans, green beans, butter beans, broad beans or jelly beans? The best beans (if we want to stay healthy) are the ones that grow in the garden. And it’s amazing how good beans taste when they’re eaten fresh from your own garden.
