HOW TO PROPAGATE

-

Method 1: Cuttings

Pull back the foliage of the parent plant and look for little ‘hairy bits’ hanging down in close to the main trunk. sections with these roots attached will easily grow into new plants. leave a bit of greenery on the stems so they can photosynthesise and provide the cutting with energy to grow.

Pot up in potting mix, label them and leave them to get on with growing. they can be transplanted out in four to six months.

Method 2: root division if your plant is quite big, divide it into two to three pieces

Carefully pull the roots apart. they will tear away at the point of least resistance. alternatively, you can use secateurs or a sharp knife and cut the roots into sections.
