HOW TO PROPAGATE

Take 10–15cm cuttings from a long straight branch. Chop each one with a node at the top and a node at the bottom on a slight slant, if possible, to stop water pooling in the hollow core. Often, lemon verbena shoots are quite conveniently arranged to have about 8–10cm between each node so cutting them into sections is easy.

Dip each cutting in rooting hormone and gently insert into potting medium.

Pop in a warm place, preferably covered (a plastic bag supported over the pot works well) and watch the tiny green leaves start to appear in spring.
