WHAT YOU NEED

-

• Clay or soil with high clay content

• Compost

• Seeds

• A little water

• Large bowl

• Wooden spoon

Mix 5 parts clay and 1 part compost together in a bowl or bucket.

Add a good handful of your preferred seeds and mix thoroughly.

Add sufficient water to bring the mix together, but don’t make it too sloppy.

Mould mixture into ball shapes and leave to dry.

Once dry, they can be stored for several months, or you can throw them to the desired place straight away as long as heavy rainfall is not likely for the next day or two.

Avoid sowing during very dry times (sow in spring and autumn). For extra effect, sow several seed bombs around the same area at once.
