Indoor plants
Treat your indoor plants to some TLC this month; most will be in go-slow growth mode. Take time to assess each plant carefully, looking for any insects or bugs, or signs of rot and mildew. Mildew and rot are common problems over winter, often due to overwatering and lack of air movement. Aim to keep any indoor plant treasures on the drier side and avoid jamming too many plants into a small space. This can be challenging for houseplant lovers, as we tend to cram as many as we can into whatever space we have. Remove dust and indoor debris from the foliage with a soft rinse in the shower, or pop them outside on a day when gentle rain is falling. Alternatively, you can simply wipe each leaf clean.
