DOING IT THEMSELVES
Thank you for the information about the self-watering planters in the July issue (Self-watering Herb Planters by Klaudia Krupa, as pictured). I have made them and planted hollyhocks in each of the four bottles. I didn’t paint them, but my granddaughter, Jane (aged 6), painted her one. The seeds have all come up and she is waiting to have her one back when we go to a lower Alert Level. We are both delighted that they worked so well and I will definitely get some more bottles from my son to plant tiger lilies in.
