THE MONTH IN BRIEF

-

If your lawns are getting away on you, mow during the last quarter to decrease growth (from the 1st to the 4th and on the 29th and 30th). Harvest according to the signs up until the 5th. When the new crescent appears on the 7th, it’s time to begin sowing and transplanting. Prune to increase growth from the 12th until the full moon on the 19th. When the full moon appears, switch tack and go into cultivation mode, while sowing root crops. It’s also a great time to add nourishment around flower beds, such as manure and mulch. Take care not to sow on the 21st. Put your feet up from the 28th and enjoy spending your time harvesting according to the signs.
