Paeony Prowess
Jeni Dickson shared these photos to highlight the changing hues of a paeony bloom she picked from her Christchurch garden. #Toptiptuesday is getting a reputation for being a good source of tried-and-tested gardening know-how. Recently, our Facebook family applauded Jan Deadman’s on-point tomato advice:
My grandfather used to thread single strands of copper wire through the stalks of tomato plants and never had any blight or bugs – only beautiful tomatoes.
Many gardeners were quick to confirm this to be a good trick:
An older man I cared for had the most amazing garden. Told me to do this! It works great... do it. – Rona Kay
