Vege Flatbread



• ½ cup chickpea flour (besan)

• ½ cup water

• ½ tsp salt

• ¾ cup veges – broccoli, cauliflowe­r, green beans, peas oil


1. Mix flour and half the water until smooth, then add remaining water and salt.

2. Finely chop your veges and add to the mixture.

3. Heat enough oil to cover the base of a non-stick frypan. Pour in mixture and swirl it around to even out. (If your pan is small, make two breads.)

4. Cook gently for about five minutes until base is golden and crispy and top is set. 5. Carefully slide onto a plate and cut into quarters.

6. Sprinkle with poppy seeds or chopped fresh herbs to finish for added flavour.
