Garden and animal lover Tish Scott from Wairoa says that while some animals are kept in little boxes, they should be kept like kings and queens. So, she’s building a human-sized bunny mansion for Puma and his 10 roomies, complete with roofs, lofts and stairs. Most of the materials have been foraged from nature, like the gate made from beach finds. Bunny poo is put to good use in her sustainable garden; it’s more nutrient-filled than chicken or horse poo, comes in pellet form and doesn’t burn your plants, she advises.
