How’s this for fast fruit?

Three to four months after planting out, Cape gooseberry bushes will be fruiting. do not start harvesting until the green husks look like brown paper and the cherry-sized fruit they shield has turned a rich golden colour. Each ‘cherry’ has lots of tiny seeds, so if you don’t want a forest of seedlings next spring, make sure you harvest all the fruit.
