ZERO DEATHS
At 42 years old Rochelle Welch was diagnosed with breast cancer. Each year, 3,300 New Zealanders will hear the same news and, tragically, 600 New Zealanders will die from breast cancer. Unsurprisingly, Rochelle is passionate about the work of Breast
Cancer Foundation NZ and she is disappointed that New Zealand lags when it comes to publicly funded access to medicine.
A not-for-profit charitable trust, Breast Cancer
Foundation NZ relies on donations in a bid to achieve their vision of zero deaths from breast cancer.
Their work is far-reaching and they fund three core strategies of Awareness and Education; Support; and Research and Medical.
