Fitness with Kate Ivey

Many women head into spring and summer wanting to ‘lose weight’, and it’s the same Every Single Year. Instead of being stuck in a never-ending cycle, how about focusing on leading a healthy balanced lifestyle you can maintain? Kate Ivey explains.

Setting fitness goals is a great way to get your focus away from the scales and onto taking positive action. Focusing on the process and the benefits of adding exercise to your life will help you to be successful long-term. You want to be working towards a healthy lifestyle that makes you feel great. One in which you want to exercise and fuel your body well all year round because of the endless benefits to your life.

Set some specific yet measurable, attainable but challenging, realistic and timely goals. In other words, goals you will achieve if you put in the work. And have a set time of when you want to achieve them by. Also ensure you know what you need to do to get there.
