Robert Ludlum’s The Bourne Evolution Brian Freeman G.P. Putnam’s Sons

-

I’m a huge fan of the Jason Bourne movies, but this was the first time I’ve read a book in the series. I wondered if it would be as enjoyable as on screen, and it certainly was!

After being framed for the assassination of a congresswoman in New York, Jason Bourne is on the run as he attempts to clear his name. A terrorist organisation known as Medusa is at the centre of it all, determined to take Jason down before he discovers the truth. With the help of journalist Abbey Laurent, Bourne learns that Medusa is involved in a corrupt plan to control society with a shady software application. As they get closer to revealing the truth, a deadly race ensues, reaching epic proportions.

With an edge-of-your-seat plot, romance, non-stop action and a formidable villain, this book has it all. Fans of the

Jason Bourne series or those who simply love a gripping thriller are in for a real treat with this one.
