Dominic Cochrane decides it’s time for a change of scenery after his political career takes a dive. The perfect opportunity comes along when a friend offers the use of his converted waterside boatshed in a quiet Sydney bay, where Dominic plans to write a book. The locals welcome him to the bay, and as he gets to know them he discovers a decades-old mystery – the disappearance of one of the residents (a beloved husband, father and schoolteacher). Some suspect foul play, others say he doesn’t want to be found – either way, Dominic sets out to uncover secrets and find the truth. A light, easy read with a touch of romance thrown in for good measure.
