Segway Safari

-

Imagine gliding gently through the lush surroundings of Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary’s natural coastal rainforest and eucalyptus filled environment on an amazing Segway machine. Well, your dream is about to become a reality! Each Segway Safari takes in wildlife displays and experiences along the way. Your guide has fantastic knowledge of the Sanctuary and it’s native wildlife and the Segway machines are, in a word…awesome! They are so easy to use after just a quick 10 minute lesson.

You feel safe and in control at all times and on the Safari you get to see the wildlife up close and personal. The tour runs through rainforest and eucalyptus forests on a 40 minute adventure.

The guided tours are small groups of a maximum of 4 people, which gives the adventure a very personalised feel. The informative guides offer you interesting animal facts along the way, so it is educational as well as fun.

Remember to wear closed-in shoes, take a small backpack and, of course, a camera, so you can take pictures along the way. Segway’s are brilliant fun for ages 10 and up, but do not operate if the rider is under 45kg or over 120kg. Just something to remember if you are booking this as a surprise for someone else.
