24 Hours in Melbourne

Let's Travel - - AUSTRALIA -

Recently, at the end of a very enjoyable coach trip from Sydney to Melbourne with AAT Kings, I decided to extend my stay in Melbourne by an extra night. It is Australia’s best state capital after all. My ‘Southern Capitals – City Meets Bush’ tour with AAT Kings had taken me to places I had never been to; places like Canberra, Beechworth and the historic town of Glenrowan. We got to see the mighty Snowy River project and look over the ski fields of Thredbo (without snow unfortunately) and to gaze upon Australia’s highest point… Mt. Kosciuszko. At only 2,228m you can see why Australia is the flattest continent on the planet.

With inner-city precincts ranging from the famous city centre laneways to the bayside chic of the south and eclectic north - Melbourne is a city of constant discovery where fashion, food, sport and entertainment, shopping, heritage, the arts and good living all come together to creative a lifestyle envied by many around the world.
