Let's Travel - - CONTENTS - Live long and prosper

Looks like New Zealand is fast becoming THE destination every airline wants to fly direct in to…no matter how long the flight…and why not? We have a plethora of things to do, superior scenery and we live in God’s anointed paradise (in my humble opinion). Qatar, American, Air Asia X, United and Emirates (direct to Dubai) have all recently announced new flights that will see a massive increase in arrivals (and departures) through Auckland International Airport. But is all this traffic sustainable?

And with Air NZ announcing new long haul routes recently, the pressure on Auckland Airport is set to get even heavier than it is now, but with plans ahead for upgrades at our major gateway it can mean only one thing…tourism is about to ‘officially’ take over as our biggest earner.

To cater for this, our biggest foray in to Australia and Thailand are featured in this issue – a mammoth 40 pages between these two sensational destinations.

Also in this issue…Tim Roxborogh discovers the wonders of Rotorua and Waitomo; Mark Sheehan pulls his trusty RV in to the city of Cleveland, Ohio; John Borthwick checks out the 10 Best Thai Islands you have NEVER heard of and Donna Trott explores the clash of cultures that make up the Asian paradise of Macao.
