All the secrets to an easy everyday makeover

Little Treasures - - CONTENTS -

As a woman, mother and feminist, I’ve got to say that you don’t need makeup. Makeup is not going to increase your intelligence, improve your personality or your ability to parent. Makeup is not going to make you a better person, but it can make you feel better. When you are wrecked through lack of sleep, long hours of parenting and are generally shattered, a little bit of makeup can make you look like you’ve had five hours sleep instead of three. I’m making no eight-hour promises here – that’s magic not makeup! Perhaps makeup is not your thing, and that’s just fine. I’m not here to tell you to wear it. But if you want to wear it, here are a few tips from a pro: Less is more. Don’t be fooled by Instagram; the screen can do magic. That kind of makeup is great for a photo shoot, but unless you are Kim K, I’d stay well away. Generally, the older you are, the less makeup you need. Lines and creases can be exaggerated by thicker coverage or eye shadow. My daily routine can take as long as 45 minutes or as short as 10. It depends on how obliging my kids are that day. Here is my step by step guide so you can look and feel great all day long.
