My principal place of residence is in the Ōmokoroa Community Board area.
I have lived in Ōmokoroa for eight years with my wife and two children. I am passionate about our community and have been actively involved in numerous community groups including local football and cricket clubs and the Ōmokoroa Sport and Recreation Society.
My local achievements include being a treasurer, past chairperson and current manager of the senior branch of the Ōmokoroa Cricket Club. Getting two artificial wickets installed locally and currently championing installation of cricket nets. I have been chairperson of the Ōmokoroa Sport and Recreation Society for almost four years (stepped aside this month). I successful managed the Sports Pavilion build, delivering it under budget.
I bring a wealth of experience in governance and have excellent financial management skills through my work in construction cost management. I bring a level head and pragmatic approach and feel I can benefit our community board with my knowledge, skills, and passion for our community.

I live in Ōmokoroa. I am passionate about this special place and future. My career has been in HR, Employment Relations, and Mediation, and includes:
Head of Employee Relations at Shell Todd, during the $1 billion Maui B Construction Project; Employment Relations Manager, and then Acting Head of Human Resources, at Capital and Coast Health Board, while the Board was under statutory management; Mediating over 1,000 employment disputes.
I currently work part-time, helping schools with their employment issues, including managing through Covid.
I am an active tramper, reader, and Secretary of MenzShed Ōmokoroa. Family and wider connections are very important to me.
My goal is to make Ōmokoroa a special place, balancing growth with keeping our village. My skills are in: building consensus and successful outcomes, and building communities of interest, even, and especially, in complex environments.
