Ōmokoroa Community Tennis Club
Spring is around the corner, and so is ‘Love Tennis’. This is our open day with extras. Lots of giveaways, fun, BBQ, ball machine, music, tennis coaching, and of course tennis. Half courts for little kids and full courts for adults. Come down and have a hit from 11am till 4pm on Sunday, 11th September, at Ōmokoroa Tennis Courts on Western Avenue.
All equipment will be provided on the day, or bring your own. There will be basic coaching and instruction for firsttimers. Bring a friend, and if members sign up a new adult member on the day, you will get a free can of balls.
Win a trip for two to the ASB Classic in Auckland 2023. Winners receive return flights to Auckland, transfers, one night’s accommodation, seats in the Tennis NZ/Tennis Auckland Corporate Suite and a three-course meal and drinks. All you have to do is scan the poster at ‘Love Tennis’ on the day.
There is a one-off discount between 11am and 4pm for new members to join our growing tennis club. Prices will be displayed on the day. See you on 11th September.
Our club days are popular, and thanks to the generous people who give up their time, there is someone to do the draw and run each club day. Club days are:
Tuesday and Wednesday Nights from 6pm. Saturdays from 2pm. There is also ladies’ singles on Fridays from 9 am, run by Ellen Haynes.

We have new Club t-shirts. We have ordered samples for you to try on for your size. You will see some committee members wearing our shirts. If you would like to order one, get in touch with Therese at theresetemple@hotmail.co.nz
