The inspiration for Gift Crew came out of the first lockdown, and not being able to go out to find that perfect gift. As a gift giver, it is important to me to give quality, thoughtful gifts that are just a little bit special. But when I was looking online, everything seemed a little same-same, the quality wasn’t there, or the gift boxes just seemed a bit empty.
So, I created Gift Crew, to help people connect with those they care about, through a thoughtful just-right gift.
As someone who didn’t really like wrapping gifts before, I found a creative side I didn’t even know I had! I just love the idea of a beautiful gift box or gift and take so much care in choosing and hand wrapping every order.
We have faced some challenges, including moving the entire business from Auckland to the Bay of Plenty so I could spend more time with family. But all the hard work has been worth it. We now have a retail gift store, and over 1,800 products, including baby, eco-friendly, specialised gift ideas, and corporate and retail gift boxes.
I am so excited to develop Gift Crew further to create a different future for myself and my children.

We are passionate about our environmental impact, and are on a sustainability journey, learning and improving all the time. Our focus on local and ecofriendly products means you are looking after the world as well as ordering the ideal gift. As well as being careful about what we offer, we also recycle everything we can, including soft plastics.
But most of all, we are proud of our sustainable packaging. We are picky about every detail, from the boxes we use, right down to our fragile stickers.
